Inlet Medical Names Ralph Germscheid Vice President of Sales

Sales Veteran Brings More Than Two Decades of Health Care Industry Experience

EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn., Oct. 30 /PRNewswire/ -- Inlet Medical Inc., a privately held medical device company that develops and markets products for pelvic reconstructive surgery for women, today announced the addition of Vice President of Sales Ralph Germscheid to its management team, effective immediately. Germscheid comes to Inlet Medical from AEIOMed, a Minneapolis- based medical device start-up firm, where he is an investor and board member.

Prior to AEIOMed, Germscheid served as regional sales director at Hartford, Conn.-based Novametrix Medical, where he was responsible for leading sales initiatives, developing market acceptance of company products, and streamlining tools and processes used by the firm's sales force. Previously, he was vice president of North American sales at Boston-based Aspect Medical, where he implemented a clinical-based sales process, developed a new sales strategy to combat competitive product introductions and established a field-based pricing model to speed sales. A health care industry veteran, Germscheid first started his sales career in 1979, as territory manager for Tampa, Fla.-based Critikon. He is a resident of Apple Valley, Minn.
