Inlet Medical Names Nancy Kolb Vice President of Marketing and Jeffrey Rencher Vice President of Sales
New Hires Expand Sales and Marketing Organization
EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. (Aug. 23, 2004) - Inlet Medical Inc., a privately held medical device
company that develops and markets products for pelvic reconstructive surgery for women,
has named Nancy Kolb, MSN, RN, vice president of marketing and Jeffrey Rencher vice
president of sales, effective immediately. These new positions expand Inlet Medical's
sales and marketing staff.

Women's health has become a highly visible, fast-growing segment of the

advantage of this trend. We are expanding our sales and marketing organization
by building a national independent sales organization, increasing our telesales
staff and improving customer service."
Kolb has a total of more than 30 years of experience in healthcare.
Prior to coming to Inlet Medical, Kolb held a variety of positions at Gyrus Medical,
a developer and manufacturer of bipolar laparoscopic surgical equipment, including
director of clinical education and clinical studies; and director, gynecology global
business unit, a $28 million international business unit. She also held several
positions, including business unit director, at Minntech Corporation, Minneapolis.
Kolb holds a master's degree in medical-surgical nursing from the University of Minnesota.
She has also completed marketing course work at the University of St. Thomas, St. Paul, Minn., and
the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota.
Rencher previously was the mid-South regional director of Gyrus Medical's North
American Sales, where he managed an eight-state sales team for two divisions. Prior
to that, he was an independent sales representative at JMED, Inc., a Tennessee-based
company that Rencher founded to market laparoscopic products to surgeons and hospitals.
Rencher also held sales positions at Dexterity Surgical and Val-U-Med, Inc., both based
in Georgia. Combined, Rencher's medical background exceeds 12 years. He holds a
bachelor's degree in biology from Tulane University.
